I have a super short blog post today, but it’s a subject majorly important to me. It’s a reminder that you deserve to travel. You really do! It doesn’t matter how much money you make, your age, your race, your gender, your religion, your sexual orientation, or anything else: you deserve to travel.
I don’t just mean two weeks to an all-inclusive. You are a global citizen. You deserve to have a variety of experiences. I feel like a lot of our self-worth is tied to our income level. You make more money, you get to do more things. (Or at least people thing you’ve earned the right to do more things.) Secret time: people richer than you don’t have more of a right to experience the global community. Rich people and poor people alike deserve to get a global education.
The simple fact that you exist means you deserve to see every part of this world. So stop telling yourself that you can’t travel because of x or y or q, because it’s not true!
You absolutely, 100%, without a doubt in my mind deserve to travel.
Now get out there and go!
